Although, BigCommerce have all these powerful features,  quite a few people are moving their ecommerce stores from BigCommerce to licensed interspire installations on their own servers. The primary cause for this is because of the fact that, bespoke development work is not an option on BigCommerce as it is a fully hosted solution.

BigCommerce restricts our access to the code base and we are no way able to add our custom shipping, payment methods. We are also not permitted to modify the code to match our custom requirements.
